About Beckett Farson
Beckett Farson is a Prague multifamily office built around senior attention and direct responsibility for the work it takes on. The firm is designed for clients who want experienced judgement applied at close range, with the discipline to stay engaged from first assessment through to execution.

Origins
How Beckett Farson Approaches Its Role
Beckett Farson was set up on a simple premise: important decisions deserve sustained involvement from people who are prepared to hold responsibility. In practice, that means experienced advisers remain involved as work moves from first assessment through to implementation, and their thinking is visible in how matters are prepared and brought to a close.
Structure
Kept purposefully narrow.
Senior advisers remain involved as matters progress and stay visibly connected to the decisions being made.
The arrangement is practical. Decisions around private capital typically unfold over time and evolve as new information appears, so they benefit from continuity of attention and repeated scrutiny.
Selective mandates.
The firm limits the number of relationships it takes on. Capacity is treated as part of the service standard, because difficult work around private capital does not respond well to volume.
Accountability that can be named.
A simpler structure makes responsibility easier to trace. Clients should know who is carrying the matter forward and where the judgement sits.
Working Culture
Serious work, done seriously.
The culture at Beckett Farson is intended to be measured and direct. The work should feel calm even when the subject matter is not.

Preparation first.
Documents are expected to be read properly. Assumptions are expected to hold up under pressure.
No ornamental language.
Clients should not have to work through decorative finance vocabulary to understand what is being proposed. If an idea is sound, it should hold up in straightforward language.
Constructive challenge.
Agreement is useful only when it is earned. A well-founded challenge, made early enough, usually improves the quality of the final decision.
Independence
Independence is the ability to interrupt momentum when the facts require it.
Families and founders often work with trusted banks, lawyers, tax specialists and long-standing advisers. Those relationships can be valuable and in many cases indispensable.

They do not remove the need for independent judgement. In some situations, the right role is to support a plan and help carry it through. In others, it is to slow the process, question the premise or insist on further work before capital is committed.
Standard
Standing behind the work over time.
Beckett Farson defines itself by the standard it applies to its work. The emphasis is on the quality of the firm’s thinking and on how carefully responsibility is carried through over long periods of time.
That standard shows up in the way the firm takes on work and in the way it carries that work through.
